personal progress

a couple of weeks ago in sacrament we had a number of talks about
personal progress. the program that has been implemented by the LDS church
for girls 12-18 years old.
it's about developing girls to become women and the next stage of life.
wither it be college, mission, marriage or work.

it wasn't until then how much of impact that the program has had on my life
if you've read my blog. i'm all about progressing.
i will attribute alot of this to what i learned in the personal progress program.

one of my projects in particular has stood out to me recently.
It was a 10-hour project to learn how to cook.
i always thought having tasty food was just the way to a man's heart.
hence a necessary skill.

HOWEVER. i've realized a greater importance.
dinner time is special time for family bonding.
it's a time to invite fellow ward members over to welcome them into the ward
and become a true ward family.
it's a great way to get non members into a home filled with the spirit, priesthood power and pictures of
Christ and the Temple

i once again find myself so grateful for the knowledge that i have.
i feel so blessed all of the time.
which leads me to believing I have the most amazing life ever.
