CHRISTMAS time was crazy

many of you know.

i work at lululemon.
this being said. i had about ZERO free time during the holidays
what with family and work just about all my time was taken up.
i've never worked retail during the holiday season but rest assured.
it's straight CRAZY.

so when i found out SYDNEY and MYANNA were coming down for new years
i planned a weekend of partying.
first we had a bonfire at my dear friends poppy's house.
then we went clubbing
we got sat at ryan shecklers table and ended up partying with him and 5 of his
closest friends till 3:00am. we never did get a picture with him.
but the night was so epic. considering that when i was 15 i had the BIGGEST crush on him EVER

and then woke up to go rock climbing.(sweet view)

we also went up to Irvine for a new years party at dave and busters.
forgot about breakfast and lunch dinner and ate three dinners in one day.
it was honestly so much fun having them here.
i miss them already
i can't wait for our next adventure together!

he was a Ramona boy.
and i loved those country boys.
he was also on shark week.

22nd birthday party.

this year. it took place at the yellow deli in vista.
it was everything i wanted to be.
good food. good conversations. and friends.
(erin, and hayley two of my best friends from high school i was so happy they came)

it was a good night.
afterwards we went and saw abduction.
which i wouldn't say GO WATCH it.
but it's defiantly entertaining.

anywho. mexico was so much fun. the theater. was REDICULOUSLY nice.
best movie experience EVER i don't know if i'll want to watch a movie any other way.
we also stopped in some sketchy ally that kyle's dad took us to for
street tacos. they were good but not going to lie.. i've had better
however, mi encanta mexico.
i really want to go back.
best part. i can. it's only 40 minutes from home.

Tiffany turned 21. So we went to a classy restraunt.
then headed over to Extrodinary Desserts.

we stayed up way to late.
especially considering that it was a tuesday night.
and i had work the next day.
but it was a terribly fun time.

my camera battery died. which has ment a lack of new posts from me.

however. on july 13th i set out on a trip.
a trip that would reunite three of my greatest friends.
never would i have imagined when i meet these girls that they would become my best friends.
and that's exactly what they are.
we laugh together. yell at each other. sing together. have fun together.
dance together. cook together. and do random lame stuff together.
and we love every minute of it.

steph was getting married so we had an excuse to reunite in GEORGIA.
we climbed stone mt. floated the hooch. went boating on the lake. saw britney spears in concert. hung out with MLB
players and got free tickets to the game to watch them play.

but truth was i loved sydney, melissa and stephanie so much.
i never wanted to leave them.

kinda lame. but o well.

and well Jace got a group together to go.
the morning started off with just me him and his mom.
she's the sweetest funniest ladies ever.
we found my new favorite exhibit.

playful.. just made you wish that you had a little bugger for yourself.
i could have watched them for hours.
honestly the best time for the WAP. (sorry you guys i won't give in it's the WAP in my heart
just like it's the Del Mar Fair.) is in the morning. the animals are out and about playing. i'm really glad Jace's mom had us go early.it was a different experience than i was used to.

later in the afternoon jace's mom left to visit his grandpa in the hospital.
and lynsi, anthoney, jared, jared's lil sister, and jared's lady came to join us.
we also went to the see the cheetah. it was pretty neat to be so close to a cheetah.

we went on the tram. and ventured into africa.
we are so very lucky to live so close to a neat park.
i'm really glad that me and alex EGG (remember this post) decided to
become a member.

thanks Jace for planning a fun filled adventure. it ended up being a lot of fun.

last night i didn't even had an answer.

so if 2011 goes anything like it did last night
i'm going to love it.

i'm so grateful for the friends i've made this year.
my families continuous support.
and my savior's love for me.

hawaii may have been one of the last places to get ring in the new year

it was the perfect Saturday with the girls.

we went to the gym in the morning.

then lunch at the cheesecake factory.

We stopped by walmart and got him some get well goodies
including some sponge bath materials

we went out to town and got some yummy thai food
at phuket thai. which was amazingly inexpensive and really nice.

church and dinner.

today chris gave a talk in church. it was his 2nd talk ever in church being a recent convert. chris's church is at the shiny hour of 9 a.m. so it was up at seven thirty so that i would beable to make it on time to church. chris matt, grant and i were going to have lunch together after church, so matt and chris came by to drop of the food for lunch and zoom zoom me over to the MPC where tenth ward meets.

Chris did gave an amazing talk on the truth of the restored gospel. he did a great job. so it was time to celebrate. Matt lives on the other side of the island and LOVES to cook. He cooked us fresh Alaskan Halibut that got flown over night to the islands from his friend. some shirmp. alfrado sauce and noodles. garlic bread. and Chris loves my brownies so i made the fellas some brownies. We laid around and enjoyed the sunday afternoon with a good movie. I haven't had so much good food for awhile. it felt like being back home. i loved it.

if you know me then you know I LOVE dove chocolates. i love chocolate in general. but dove defiantly fits up there on my favorites right next to sees. well tonight. as i sat in the office working and studying and wanting to be home, i get a visit from chris. a whole bag of dark dove chocolates. needless to say. despite how un-alkalizing these squares of supreme joy are. they make me happy and in love with what's going on inside of my mouth.

let me see your poker face. okay so maybe i don't have a poker face. i'm terrible at hiding what i'm thinking during games. buttt this saturday me, chris, bo, and dawn played my first game of poker. andd i won all their moniess. i'm a new fan. we then wenttt dancing at the yellow house across from hukilau for the new boys next door welcome in the spring dance party.

just like vegas. (except with all of our cloths and not for keeps. for funs.)

the best friends wedding

so my bestest friend from high school was married for time and all eternity this past saturday. it was such a beautiful event. brittany looked absolutely stunning. friday morning started off at 8 going to brittany's to go get ready with her and the rest of the girls. after a couple of hours of having an intense wrestling match with hair curlers and flat irons we were able to gett all kinds of spiffied up for her big day.... when brittany came out of the temple she looked absolutely breathtaking... well i think it's time i stop babbling and throw up some pictures from the temple and reception. and the reception was perfect. amazing food. great dancing. and amazing people.

the last pictureee was in the hummer limo. since brittany's house is in a location that's not the best for parking they had a shuttle service from the bear valley parking lot to her house. not just any shuttle service. there was a hummer and 300 limo and a roles royce car. can you say SO MUCH FUN. what a lovely idea. any ways me and drew had some fun going up and down the hill in the limos. well that's the start of a very fun love story. congratulation brittany and scott love you too.

rain, rain go away come again some other day... this rain is killing my plans for being tan when i come home. it rained on monday and again today. hopefully we have sun tomorrow through friday. checking the weather doesn't do much good..



four more days till i step onto a 5 hour plan trip. my insides are goinggg bananas with excitement. i'm looking forward to cheap food prices. driving. mothers cooking. good tasting produce. how i took all this for granted before me leaving home.i've been living like a starving college student lately.. when i mean lately i mean the past week and half because i know i'm going home and i don't want to buy any food because i know i won't eat it all before i go home and i know it'll all go bad before i eat it. so here's a funny story about taking every opportunity to get some free food:

me: i'm going to the exercise club's closing social
whitney: hmm i didn't know you were in the exercise club
me: o i'm not, but i get their e-mails and they are having pizza tonight so i'm going.
laughter from both of us.

i'm really excited for the pizza. i realized i haven't had any since the 2nd week of being here. and this time it's free. all the better.
