HAPPYY NEW YEARS

2011
i do believe this will be the most interesting
year of my life. for the past 21 years i've known exactly what
was next, school, school and then some more school.
So now being a grad i get to decide if i'm going to work. do more school. be a traveling bum.
but as for now. i kinda like this video/ song alot.
and like 2011 i have no clue what i'm going to do tonight.
i have a couple of options but until 7 pm rolls around i don't have a clue as to which one i'll pick.
have a happy new years
be safe.
and unlike the song don't get wasted.

trip and san diego country fair

we went to sipz for alex's liking. a new vegetarian eatry. tofu chicken tastes nothing like chicken. next time i'm going to not even try and get a meat taste alike in my meal. any ways meat-less meals are growing on me.

we ate way to much food and were food drunk by the end of our meal. followed by sitting in my car singing this is the song that never end. he makes me giggle. i love it. it will never get old to me.

some spiffy wall art in sipz.

after dinner me and alex headed downtown to watch some of his friends from high school play at a coffee shop. it was some of the most relaxing music i have ever gotten to listen to live. i wouldn't mind seeing them again. the kids have talent.

this would be the face of me. being trapped in a car for 3 and a half hours. okay i ran out and excaped to the mobile for a bathroom break. but for reals. traffic was crazy. i'm glad i was not driving i feel bad for julio who was.

FAIRR o how i love the san diego county fair.

so my dear roommate whitney is in hawaii. i told her i was going to the fair. she told me to get a deep fried snickers. so i did. it wasn't as tasty as i thought it would have been. but it was something i believed i needed to experience. every trip to the fair requires something deep fried : ]

PHIL VASSAR
he played every single i love.
his voice was amazing
it was completely worth the 3 hours of traffic that we sat in
i screamed so loud i swear i lost my voice
i LOVE him.

p.s.
the first three pictures are stole from the boys facebook.

an experience

alright now fellas, what's cooler than being cool?
(ice cold)

let me explain. the before story: so through my relation ships with friends, boyfriends, strangers, when having conversations about music i will usually bring up the possibility of starting a band. i always switch around between playing the synthesizeer, guitar, or drums. I always pawn off lead singer to someone else in the group.. because i believe that i can't sing save my life.

the after story: so yestertday while working paul and bart tell me that they are doing a performance in their music class...somehow during the conversation i offer to sing for their project. i tell them that i'm an amazing singer and i would do it. the song is hey yea but it's the obiadiah parker version which is amazingly lovely to listen to. i go home and i practice. yes i practice. i realized what exactly i was getting myself into. singing in front of a large group of people with NO singing experiece (church doesn't count) and these people's grades were on the line. so i practice.

today rolls around and paul tells me that there's going to be a practice session. i get to the practice room. WHAT HAVE A GOTTEN MYSELF into. We practice. I suck. they still ask me to sing. bad. So i sing. it actually wasn't too bad. if i can figure it out i'll post the recording from my i phone onto here.

empty

right now i'm running on empty.

buttt here are some dates i am looking forward to

April 4th- marks the start of general conference. A time to reflet on the inspiring words of ther leaders of the church. during the bussy buzz of the end of the semester it will be nice to take the weekend off and feast upon the words shared at conference.

April 10th- the winter term as i know it will be over. no more lame research papers. ooo how i dread/look forward to this day everyday..dread it because i know it's all work and no play until then. look forward to it because it means a week of absolute relaxation on the island of Oahu. (i will be treating myself to a nice shopping session at the mall.)

June 3- the spring semster term will be over. which hopefully means that my parents will be out here. in which i will vacation with them until.....

June 10- when i board my plane and head back to a wonderful summer in San Diego. this summer i hope that i can make some visits to: santa barbra, san fransico, malibu, santa monic, venice, hollywood, balboa, a padre's game, anddd here's a strech utah/idaho. it's alot for one summer. and i'm almost 100% sure that i won't got to all those places, but going to about half will ticckkle me enough.

June 16- Phil Vassar blesses the San Diego county fair with his wonderful music. I've never been to a country concert and i've been wanting to go to one for quite some time. And since my dear friend Ashley introduced me to Phil 3 years ago I have been a fan.

July 4th- because it means family, summer, and fireworks. It'll be the last holiday i spend with my family until i come back home for christmas. & there's just something about the fourth of july that i love.

love and lameness

AHH i'm in love with pumpkin seeds. it's a re-incarcerated love from my childhood Halloween days. try some. their salty goodness will have you tast budders craving for some more.
i'm also currently in love with the pandora app. one it's great for finding new music here in hawaii. having no t.v. no car and no radio makes hearing new music a bit of a choir but with pandora it's a breeze. but here's the lameness part of the reason that i love pandora so much is because i don't have any songs on my iphone. i know i'm probably the lamest iphone owner i know. about a year ago i had an ipod. my ipod had ample room for storage so from my computer went my entire library of songs to the ipod. well my iphone does not have the space that the ipod has and i would like to select what songs go on. this is the problem. i've try manually managing music and syncing and it doesn't work. o wells. for now untill i find an apple expert pandora has me memorized.
