apon taking history 202 we are studing the history of laie. i though i'd share with you some pictures and information about the town i live in.
-6,000 acreas of land includingLaie was purchased by the LDS Church in 1865 for 14,000
- Originally the land in the area was used to harvest cotten but crops failed due to bugs
- Sugar became the staple crop of the area.
