happy october

(mr. pumpkin our year long tribut to halloween)

ooo halloween how i lovee the coming of fall, hot chocolate snuggling, getting dark around 5. however there are no signs of fall whatsoever here in the quaint little village of laie. however the inhabitants of this part of the island love halloween and bright orange decorations are being strung up around windows and down fences, darling little jack-o-lanterns are popping up on people porches. but all the treess are green as can bee and there's not a sign of cool crisp fresh air. i miss that. even tho in san diego there are only about 5 trees that loose their leaves and it drops to the "fridged" temperature of 60.


conference it was sunday and i was watching conference on my computer can i just say that i am just ecstatic about the building of the temple in rome. i have always wanted to go to rome and i have decided that i will most defiantly be making the voyage overseas to go to the open house. i'm also very happy to hear about the other 4 temples that will be built. it is so amazing to see the church extending to all parts of the nation. It is very important that we pray so that the leaders of nations can have open hearts so that gospel can enter into every land freely. I loved Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin's talk. we must take the time to laugh. anger and frustration isn't part of the Lord's plan, He suffered so we don't have to. Brother Kimball said that we should make some self improvement goals after conference. mine are the following: show my gratitude to my parents more. they do so much for me and they defiantly are two amazing people. show genuine kindness to everyone. do more service for other, from volunteering around the community to leaving people little notes of admiration. And last and I believe one of the most important to gain a greater understanding of the Infinite Atonement.

So after a day of spiritual uplifting tommy comes over and tells me that it is drew's birthday.

i got supper excited because this meant that i got to make a birthday card. For friends birthday's I make cards. they are quite adorable and they usually have a drawing of the person and a small birthday wish. Well in the midst of all my joy i got up to go to the craft closet when i accidentally kicked off the handle of a mug set conspicuously at the bottom of one of our couches.

(it was a near perfect break)

needless to say that was the end of that mug. Drew's a surfer so i drew him surfing at hukilau. the them was surfing is for humans something drew told me one day. under the water there was a blue whale shark coral and some fishes. It was cute and creative in the words of Drew.
