sauces

something my dad pointed out while we were vacationing

i like sauces not food.
and i hate to admit it's really true.
it's hard for me to eat a sandwich/fries without them.
when i was little i wouldn't eat rice unless it had sauce on it.

here are some of my favorites:
chipotle sauce. subway has the best. i'm addicted.
BBQ sauce. ummm this can go anything. pizza. burgers. etc.


i need to ween my self off of this addiction.
cause honestly it can't be good.
from now on i'm not going to get extra sides of sauce.
let's see how i do.

puppets

happy MLK weekend
this weekend has been quit entertaining. and i'd like to thank
BLAKE, BRIAN, KYLE, and MYANA for it
we have a little crew now.
and we started a puppet marathon today.
in which we watch semi creepy ultra classic movies from the 80's.
thus far we've watched the labyrinth
(you do who do the power of voo doo. o david B)
and the never ending story.
(creeper falcor dog dragon thing. to think when i was a kid i thought this dog was the greatest)
both of which, i found wayy far out there.
and i find it intriguing how those were such popular movies.
we also took a trip to the beach in laniki
we flew kites and played beach volley ball.
it was a BLAST

o yea and i made muddy buddies for the first time.
those puppies are DANGG good.
kyle can't get over how amazing i am in the kitchen.
he won't stop saying how i'm going to be the world's most awesome mom.
i hope that becomes true.

camping in hawaii.

last night a group of 12 of us.

walked out to this:

laid out our sleeping bags under the shinning stars
and bright moon.
and listened to music by aaron puzey.

good company is always appreciated.
but i must say. i woke up with the biggest appitate EVER
and came home and chomped.
guess it's good cause we're going to go play tennis now
not to mentioned we played for 2 hours last night.

o did i mention. i just fell in love with TENNIS
i want to play everyday.

monkey bread

Don't try to bake your monkey bread in something that is not a bundt cake pan.

this do's and don'ts of life was learned this morning.

i had promissed my landlord mr. doxie that i'd make him and his wife monkey bread before
the end of the break. we didn't have a bunt cake pan and i didn't feel like asking

around for one so i decided i'd improvise. let's just say that wasn't the greatest of ideas.

i used a bread loaf pan. it took FOREVER to cook the bread. The middle rolls weren't cooking at all.

i ended up having to take off all the outside already done rolls and cooking the middle separate.

last night i didn't even had an answer.

so if 2011 goes anything like it did last night
i'm going to love it.

i'm so grateful for the friends i've made this year.
my families continuous support.
and my savior's love for me.


(fireworks at my friend tuika's. this went on starting at 6 it was the most intense new years party ever. it was so kind for them to invite me to join in on their family's celebration. )

hawaii may have been one of the last places to get ring in the new year
but we did it good.
