2011

i do believe this will be the most interesting

year of my life. for the past 21 years i've known exactly what

was next, school, school and then some more school.

So now being a grad i get to decide if i'm going to work. do more school. be a traveling bum.

but as for now. i kinda like this video/ song alot.

and like 2011 i have no clue what i'm going to do tonight.

i have a couple of options but until 7 pm rolls around i don't have a clue as to which one i'll pick.

Graduated

Today I Graduated College
had a 5 minute convo with Elder Tom Perry.
Sat in the FRONT row at graduation.
cut poppy's hair because of honor code.
got to spend time with my whole family.

had the 2nd best day of my life
(1st best day was yesterday after finals.)
Today was a good day.

one day.
i will own this toaster.
it is possible the coolest
toaster i've ever seen

first date.

so everyone's doing this 30 day blog challenge thing.
althought i haven't hopped on the band wagon.
here's my perfect first date.

date starts out with boy wonder being on time. (that's big to me)
boy wonder has the night fully planned. (love it when a boy has a plan i get too undeceive.)
first things first dinner.
(in hawaii it'd most defiantly have to be haleiwa eats.)
(mainland it really could be anywhere)
we talk laugh and completely enjoy spending dinner with each other.
dinner is followed by a nice stroll exploring the area.
after the walk we go some place pretty to look a the stars.
(in hawaii most defiantly be pupukea look out point)
we talk story and look at the stars
boyy wonder knows me and has dessert.
we share.

even tho i'm a girl who NEVER EVER kisses on a first date or second or third as a matter of fact.
it's been a rule since i graduated high school.
and i NEVER make the first move
but boy wonder kisses me.
boy wonder walks me to the door and gives me a good night kiss on the forward

boy wonder sends a text message with a sweet compliment.
and that my friends is my idea of a perfect date.

school of business

Last night was the school of business's Graduation Banquet

every year they have a chocolate fountain
amazing food. and a great speaker.
(me and mel)
my dear friend poppy needed a date
i just so happened to know mel wasn't doing anything friday night
so i suggested poppy take mel as a date.
and pooppy agreed it'd be delightful.

I choose to take mr. matt glendenning.
a charming fellow.
(see perfect together. what'd i tell you)
so off we went the four of us to the banquet.
(me and mr. poppy. we are GRADUATING hooray)

I couldn't have asked of a greater group to go with
we took many a pictures.
and had splendid conversations.
i'm going to miss this school very much.
i'm so very grateful for the people and experience
that i have had while at this university.
i'm greatful for all the tithing money that goes to subsidize
the school.
which is why i'll end my blog break and get back to studing.
6 more days you guys.
and i'm a college grad.

i can't begin to express how excited i am for this day.

Pie crust
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
8 Tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp Sugar
2-4 Tbsp water

Pie
2 cups Pumpkin (blended)
3 eggs
1/3 cup half and half
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp Flour
1 tsp Lemon Zest
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp All spice
1/8 tsp Cloves

Topping
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans
2 Tbsp Butter
1/4 tsp Salt

chipotle chips

it's no secret.
i am in love with chipotle.

so when i passed these suckers in the foodland isle
to get chips for my homemade southwestern salsa aka marissa's salsa
I HADD to try them. plus they were being swindled at the rate of 2 for 6.
score some MORE. let me tell you.
i don't know of a more perfect chip.
