halloween count down begins

for starters
We made home made pizza on Saturday.
it was one of the funnest things EVER.
i would definatly recommend it to anyone i know.

(bbq chicken pizza with pineapples.)

(oo this picture is so much more than what meets the eye)

Halloween is less than a week away.
and our house i throwing the Halloween party.
the party has always been thrown by the A-frame girls.
but since andy awkwardly told them that they should just let us throw one
as well as stefff deep desire to have a Halloween party at our house
they have passed the torch onto us.

(pumpkin gutss)

we need to decorate. what better way than with some amazing pumpkins.
by the end of this week we will have at least 10 amazingly carved pumpkins
scattered about our house.
with spider webs and haunted pictures hanging about our house.

(things can get a little crazy when your carving pumpkins.)
(my headless horse man pumpkin.)

i can honestly say i've never carved such and intricate pumpkin.
i'm prouddd. and for the first time away from home
i'm EXCITED beyond belief about Halloween.
it's going to be a BLAST

BOOORIFIC

laie temple walk through

(it's ohana)

The Laie Temple Open House
was beautiful
it was such a blessing to be on the island during this memorable event
and it was made even more special with a visit on the first day with my roommates
plus justin (steph's fiance) flew in from AZ to visit for the weekend.
(after the walk through)

everything about it made me think about the eternal marriage.
and how there is NO place else i'd rather get married
and be able to make time every week to visit the temple.
these are a couple of goals i have for my future.
I am so very grateful for the the kindness of the Lord to place these great building here for us.
while we were in the celestrial room there was a young family.
and i couldn't help but watch them and think at that exact moment.
that this is what heaven will be like. it was amazing.

(the newly engage kids gooffying off)(me and melissa makingg sillies. stef had to join in)

i belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
and i love it.

pumpkin and yoga

i'm not exactally sure when this happened.
but i've become obsessed with pumpkin desserts.
actually come to think of it i think my love for pumpkin started with my
pumpkin spice chocolate square sample from gharadelli's.
it reminds me of fall, yellow and orange leaves, the nip in the air. you know the feeling.
the feeling that it's about time to fill up a mug of hot coco and snuggle up in your favorite throw and watch a movie...that feeling hawaii so very undearly lacks... but that's okay
because i've foundd my fall in a little bit of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

last night nichole clark came over and we made these:

Black Bottom Mini Carmel Pumpkin Cheese Cake Bits
(reciepie found here)
we omitted the carmel.
buttt dang these suckers were delicious.
and way EASY to make.
it was a lovely time catching up with her and hearing about her new life in TVA
afterwards i instructed nichole in a lesson of yoga.
Hello October. i like you.
