last night

soo being the shop o aholic i am. i was seriously STOKED on going shopping with everyone today. BUT unfortunately. i work on friday's. so being that i had to work, i was a little bummbed out. then something delightful happened. Amra and the kiwi's wanted to go to the 12 o clock go around at wikela. and LOW and behold that's exactly where i wanted to go.

but getting there was a little bit of an adventure

it was a car full of kiwi's

fun loving kiwi's.

and a car. that has some issues on staying cool

need less to say we had to pull over twice due to over heating.

and the first time the car was SMOKING.

really cars still do that?

anyyy who.

it couldn't' have been more of a perfect place to break down. north shore by the pine trees. the stars were out and about shining crystal clear for us to gaze upon as we waited for the car to cool down. we played some fun games. it was quite enjoyable... but with shopping on all of our minds. off to complete chaos we went.

there were tons of people.

but somehow that made it all the more of an adventure

of course i found some jewels.

and came home quite happyyy.

at the lovely hour of 3:30 in the morning.

and of course people where still up at home.

but then it would never end.

thanksgiving the day

thanksgiving 2009.

what a day what a day.
let's see. started out with me waking up way early.
so what do i do. just take it easy. RELAX.
it's a HOLIDAY. so that means no school stuff. : ]

after waking up and mozzing around the house. watching the girls bake their pies for the ward party. it was time for me to get ready. get ready for what you might ask. well for my second viewing of twilight of course.

(you may not be able to tell from this picture but Todd is WAY more excited to see new moon than me : ])

i went with todd. todd's ward rented out the Laie theature for their ward to watch New Moon, and Todd invited me to go along with them. and since i was already planning on seeing it today. seeing it with todd for FREE sounded like a good deal. It was most wonderful the second time around. but i'm not going to lie i could tell that Jacob was a 17 year old actor in real life.. and that made mee feel a little less into it. Also this second time around i feel even more in love with Edward's character... k nuff about twilight already your probably bored to death and thinking why in the world is chellyyy writing about the same kind of stuff 13 year old girls obsess over?

next it was off to the ward thanksgiving party. let me first off say I LOVE BYU-H 4th ward. I've been in it for a little over a year and it is the sweetest and most loving ward i have ever been in. and they definatly know how to through a good party. here's some snippity snapps from the event: (berry and birthday boy brian fukafuka)

i'm doing another post with all the thing that i am thankful for.... but since Bishop's picture is right here i'd like to express my gratitude for the wonderful man . thank you bishop as well as your wife. for all that you two do for us, all of your counsel, guidance and support. Our bishop such a sweet loving bishop we are truly blessed to have you serving the 4th ward for almost 6 sweet years. The spirit that he has invoked in our ward is heartwarming and i am truly grateful for all that he has done.

.. so after a scrumptious meal it was time for a little NORTH SHORE thanksgiving sessions in the sun. (that's a bit of a mouthful.. whew!) the beach was pretty much prefect light breeze, bright sun, itty bitty sign of clouds and GIANT waves.

do wake up before the sunrises at least once a week. you'll find that day to be quite productive and once in the habit you won't find yourself sleep mid dayand best part about it.

you'll have the opportunity to watch the sun rise

Me, ash and amanda wented to

see it last night. ash had just watched it on friday.(like everyone else)

me and ash ended up separtated from amanda and her friends

so we sat next to each other. and O MY goodness as soon as jacob cut his hair + rain

ummm WOW.

i think i almost passed out a couple of times.

i know ash did.

now i know why everyone has seen it TWICE already.

but i still doo love bella and edward together.

it's just so very right.

all in all

i hated this book. hated jacob in the book.

loved this moved and loved jacob in this movie.

there was a bon fire at the man cave house
when i got there kelsey showed me how to make bananas boats.

after the bon fire i came home to cookie party wednesday

but news flash for us earthlings.
wee aren't infinite in nature just yet


what does this mean?
that we have got to use it wisely.
we are only on this earth for such a small period of time
and that little ittty bitty amount of time
we have to determine the rest of our ETERNITY.

maybe this is why i've always been so prone
to efficiency in my life.
if you don't have a clearly defined goal in life
chances are you won't get too far.
in your ETERNAL progression
as well as your progression here on earth.

and after reevaluating my time usage.
i've determined that there are some things that i need to
cut back on.
and other things that i need to focus on.

I'm thankful for the Heavenly Father
for giving me the aid to reach my goals

some of you may know

if i would have done college any differently. i would have been a psych major. it's just all so incredibly amazing to me. the sub conscious human. the bits and pieces about us that we don't ever realize.the development of the body. it's all truly amazing.

as i was roaming about the library to find a perfect spot to study. i ran into my friend matt. (fyi the perfect spot is not sitting by a friend. it's highly distracting and uncondusive to the learning environment.) after chatting with him i needed to find a different spot.. so i got up and was walking through the magazines when an article caught my eye in Psychology today. i picked it up and started to browse through it's content. each page more infectiously catching my attention than the last . (now why can't this happen with me with economist today? or for any of my text books as a matter of fact!).. anywhoo. the analysis of sub human interactions and cognitive processes was all too intriguing. i got a little bummbed out that i wasn't a psyc major.

then i remembered research and therapy.

i'll take my negations and numberr crunching.

but psychology today. i'll still wonder about your pages.

don't you worried. your editors did what they were supposed to

create an all too appealing magazine.

i'm at work.
and every one is currently getting rained on.
i'd like to point out how lucky i am at the moment

for starters i've been at school since 8:40 i'll have to stay till probably 10:00 i MIGHT go back home for a hour after work.. but i'm thinking it might be better to stay here.(now your probably thinking how in the world is being at school from 8:40 to 10:00 lucky in the least.) I wanted to get lunch at subway.. so i did. i roode straight theree and then straight back. no rain. came to the office and ate my lunch. AND now it is pouring. the bi polar weather is back. it's sunny one moment just long enough to make you think about going to the beach and then BAM it pourrs like cats and dogs.

so i'm lucky that i didn't get rained on.

in any case even if i had gotten rained on.

i have an umbrella that fits perfectly into one of the bottle holders of my

back pack. also quit lucky.

i'm also very lucky because i have everything going for me and i know it.

there's not alot of people out there who have that.

come to think of it. i'm not really lucky

i'm blessed.

exteremely blessed.

confessions of a shopaholic #2: whoever said rehab was easy lied.

so i broke.

i needed a new pair of sandels

i hope your halloween was as splendid as minee.
it was hands down greatness.
and no i did not go anywhere as a construction worker.
i gave that one up kinda fast : [

sooo any whoo my halloween went as such: GIANT slip N slide. you should have seen this one. it was GIANT and O so fun LOOKING. but remember looks can be deceiving. This slip N slide was more of a slip and die. fashioned out of construction tarps and sand and water. The tarp was a little too texturized to give wayy for the waterr to carry down your merry way to the great big blue. that slippery slide got kinda old fast. but for some reason they were determine to make it work before we left to go to the surf contest.. so i headed home for some vegan soupps and accounting readings. (i'm soo glad i was able to get what little work done.) When the boys FINALLY decided that they were done with their efforts and t bell weee cruised on over to sunset to watch the surf contest. not to much surf watching went down.. lots of playing in the water and backpack chair readings. we all got a little thirsty from a day in the sun so we decided to get some beverages at matt's a go swimming and hot tubbing. and can i say that it was VERY nice not to have to worry about getting kicked out. It was a long day. and i most defiantly got tuckered out. i decided on stayingg in for the night. catch up on some more reading, studdy a little and watch a movie with some splendid company.

(remember thesee irish jiggers. hehehe : ] thought they were a little halloween appropriate )

my halloween was quite un halloweeny.

i did go trick-or-treating to the Eggberts with my roommates.
